1. Introduction

This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is offered by LEDvista Lighting Ltd. (“LEDvista”, “we”, “us”, “our”) to purchasers of products bought directly from LEDvista or through our authorised sales channels. It applies in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law. If you do not agree with this Warranty, please do not purchase from LEDvista.

2. Your Statutory (Legal) Guarantee

Under the EU Consumer Sales and Guarantees Directive and the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022, consumers are entitled to a minimum two-year legal guarantee that goods are free from defects and conform to contract at the time of delivery. If a lack of conformity appears within that period, we will repair, replace, or, where impossible or disproportionate, refund the goods at no cost to you.

3. Commercial Warranty Periods

Many products carry an additional commercial warranty beyond the legal guarantee:

(a) The applicable term is the period stated on the product page, packaging, or invoice (e.g. 3 years, 5 years, 10 years).
(b) If no period is stated, the commercial warranty defaults to 24 months.
(c) Where “onsite warranty” appears, labour is included as specified.
(d) Consumables or products marked “No additional warranty” remain covered by the legal guarantee only.

4. What the Commercial Warranty Covers

– Defects in materials or workmanship arising under normal, stated operating conditions.
– Replacement parts shipped to an EU/UK address.
– On-site service only where expressly indicated.

5. What is Not Covered

– Damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, unauthorised modification, lightning, water ingress beyond the IP rating, or operation outside rated ambient temperature.
– Routine wear such as gradual lumen depreciation below 70 % of initial output at end of rated life.
– Removal/re-installation costs, access equipment, or third-party labour unless covered by an onsite warranty.
– Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses except where prohibited by law.

6. How to Make a Warranty Claim

(a) Email info@ledvista.ie or call +353 1 901 1789 within 30 days of discovering the fault.
(b) Provide order number, product code, installation address, and photos/video of the issue (plus proof of online warranty registration where required).
(c) We will acknowledge within two working days and may issue an RMA number or arrange a site visit.
(d) We aim to repair, replace, or refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item (30 days for onsite service).
(e) Dead-on-arrival items reported within 30 days are replaced once photographic evidence is received; LEDvista covers all freight in such cases.

7. Remedies

At our discretion we will:
– Repair the product;
– Replace it with the same or equivalent model (minor variations in colour temperature/output may occur); or
– Refund the purchase price if repair/replacement is impossible or disproportionately costly.

8. Transferability & Commencement of Term

This Warranty applies to the original purchaser and is transferable only with proof of original purchase. The warranty term begins on the invoice date. Replacement items inherit the unexpired portion of the original term.

9. Return Shipping & Costs

– Within Ireland, LEDvista pays outbound shipping for repaired or replacement goods.
– We also cover inbound freight for DOA reports (first 30 days). After that, customers cover inbound shipping; tracked services are recommended.

10. Interaction with Manufacturer Warranties

If a manufacturer offers a longer or broader warranty, we will act as your liaison or, if quicker, put you in direct contact with the manufacturer’s RMA service. You may choose either route.

11. Limitation of Liability

Except as required by law or expressly set out in this Warranty, LEDvista shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
